Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 1, 2026
This privacy policy explains what information CPAP Battery Guide collects when you visit the site, how that information is used, and what rights you have over it. We have written this in plain language because we think you should be able to read it without a lawyer.
Information We Collect Directly
We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) directly. The site does not currently offer account signup, comment forms, newsletter forms, or any other field that asks for your name, email, or contact details. If we add such features in the future, this policy will be updated before they go live.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a site. We use cookies in limited, specific ways:
- Cloudflare necessary cookies. Our site is served through Cloudflare, which sets a small number of cookies required for security, bot detection, and basic site functionality. These cannot reasonably be disabled without breaking the site.
- Affiliate cookies on outbound click. When you click an affiliate link to Amazon or another retailer, that retailer sets its own cookie on your device to track the referral. We do not control these cookies — they are governed by the destination site's privacy policy. This is standard for any site participating in affiliate programs.
Analytics
This site does not currently run any third-party analytics. Cloudflare records standard edge-level metrics (request volume, response codes, country-level geography) for the security and performance of the network — these are not tied to identifiable visitors and we do not access them for marketing purposes. If we later add a privacy-respecting analytics tool (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics or Plausible), this page will be updated.
Third-Party Tracking via Affiliate Networks
When you click an outbound affiliate link, you leave our site and enter the destination retailer's domain (Amazon, EcoFlow, Bluetti, etc.). At that point, the retailer's tracking and privacy practices apply. We have no visibility into what those retailers collect or how they use it. If you are concerned, review the privacy policies of the retailers you click through to.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell, rent, or share visitor data with third parties.
- We do not run advertising networks or display ads that profile you.
- We do not track you across other websites.
- We do not build a marketing list (because we do not have signup forms).
GDPR (EU and UK Visitors)
If you visit from the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to request access to any personal data we hold about you, request deletion of that data, request correction, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we do not collect PII directly, in practice we typically have no personal data tied to you. If you wish to exercise these rights or ask a question, contact editorial@cpapbatteryguide.com.
CCPA (California Residents)
If you are a California resident, you have similar rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise CCPA rights, contact editorial@cpapbatteryguide.com.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
This privacy policy may be updated as the site evolves — for example, if we add a newsletter, a comment system, or new analytics tooling. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. We recommend checking back periodically.
