Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: May 1, 2026
CPAP Battery Guide is an independent review site funded primarily through affiliate partnerships. We believe readers deserve full transparency about how we earn money, so this page lays out exactly how our revenue model works and how it does — or does not — affect our recommendations.
Amazon Associates
This site is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. When you click an Amazon link from our site and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
In the interest of full transparency, our Amazon Associate tracking ID is hubp05ba4-20. You can verify this in any Amazon link we publish.
Other Affiliate Networks
We are in the process of joining additional affiliate networks, including Awin, Impact, ShareASale, and FlexOffers. These networks let us link directly to manufacturers such as EcoFlow, Bluetti, Jackery, and Anker when their programs are available outside Amazon. As we add these partnerships, the same disclosure principles apply: a clearly marked affiliate link, no extra cost to you, and no influence on our editorial coverage.
How Commissions Affect Our Recommendations (They Don't)
Commission rates vary across products and networks, but we do not let those rates dictate which products we recommend. Our rankings are driven by what actually suits CPAP users — runtime under realistic load, pure sine wave output, charging speed, weight, noise, and reliability — not by which vendor pays the highest cut.
If a product we rate poorly happens to pay a high commission, it still gets the poor rating. If a product we rate highly pays nothing, it still gets the high rating. We would rather lose revenue than lose reader trust.
Spec-Based vs Hands-On Reviews
We want to be honest about the depth of our reviews. The majority of our current coverage is spec-based: we verify manufacturer specifications against retailer listings, cross-reference user reports from r/CPAP, r/SolarDIY, and sleep apnea forums, and calculate CPAP-specific runtime estimates using documented machine wattage profiles.
We are actively building toward hands-on testing — overnight runtime trials with a ResMed AirSense 11, charging speed verification, fan noise measurements under load, and humidifier compatibility checks. Where a review reflects hands-on testing, we say so explicitly. Where it does not, we do not pretend otherwise.
No Hidden Costs
Affiliate links never cost you extra. The price you pay through one of our links is identical to the price you would pay going direct to the retailer. The retailer simply shares a small portion of their margin with us for the referral.
